10 - Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly

Twin sisters Mio and Mayu are lost in a dark forest during a visit to their favorite place since childhood. When they enter an abandoned village in which no one has lived for several years, the path disappears behind them. Soon, the sisters realize that ghosts live in the village. They wander the streets in search of twins, intending to end a once unfinished dark ritual in which one sister must kill the other. In the village, Mio finds an antique camera that has the unique ability to exorcise ghosts by capturing them on film. Meanwhile, something happens to Mayu - she moves away from her sister and begins to behave like a completely different person. Using the camera, Mio has to find a way out of the village.

The plot of the game tells that a certain company that operates huge drilling stations throughout the galaxy receives a distress signal from the Ishimura space platform. Assuming that another breakdown has occurred, a group of specialists is sent on board the station together with engineer Isaac Clarke, whose tasks include finding and subsequent repair of faults. However, once on the spot, they begin to realize that this was not an ordinary distress signal, but something terrible has happened. As it turns out later, the station was captured by an alien life form. The aliens turned the station's crew into some kind of raw material for creating their own soldiers. Now in the corridors, immersed in the darkness of the station, emptiness and pitch darkness reigns, catching up with chilling horror on unwanted guests. But Isaac Clarke does not intend to put up with this and enters into a duel with an unknown threat.
